The Stores is a mixed-use development designed by Manson Associates, conceived to enhance urban density at a prominent gateway site adjacent to the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow.

Infinite 3D prepared a series of presentation montages to support a planning application for residential accommodation across three blocks. Block A comprises eight storeys of purpose-built student accommodation, providing 104 en-suite studios with compact kitchens. Block B rises to ten storeys and will deliver 169 build-to-rent apartments, including studios, one-bed and two-bed homes. Block C, arranged across nine, fourteen and twenty-eight storeys, will provide 336 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes.

The ambition of the scheme is to create a vibrant mixed-use development that establishes a new city landmark, combining high-quality residential and student accommodation with green spaces, shared amenities and active ground-floor commercial uses. Planners note that the development will “…help re-populate the area through the creation of an attractive waterfront neighbourhood”.
